Body Wash Can Thoroughly Cleanse and Moisturize From Head To Toe
As a dermatologist, I often prescribe pine tar for problem skin because it helps to relieve inflammation and prevent the spread of acne. It is worth noting that pine tar is included in many pharmacy products for psoriasis, eczema, and other skin diseases. Personal care products do the best job because you always have them in your possession and they prevent many skin diseases. I recommend using natural pine tar body wash because it thoroughly cleanses, deodorizes, and moisturizes from head to feet.

Pine Tar Body Wash is Easy to Use
I prefer using pine tar body wash. This is because it lathers far more easily than when using soap. I have always associated the cleansing effectiveness of cleaning products based on the number of bubbles they produce. This is not a very scientific approach, and I think it came from a childhood practice, but it is what I still believe in now. That said, since the pine tar body wash produces more bubbles, I feel like it cleans my body better too. Hence, I always choose it over soap.

Soap Tends to Last Longer
I’ve always been, and always will be a soap kind of guy. Why? There are a couple of reasons. Soap tends to last longer and there’s less packaging, both of which mean it's better for the environment. Since I’m a die-hard eco-nut, I have to go with what my heart tells me is the right option, which is why soap wins the pine tar contest every single time.

Pine Tar Soap is Affordable With the Same Quality and Functionality as the Body Wash
I prefer to use pine tar soap for my care. I grew up using soap to wash away dirt, oil, and grime from my body. So in adulthood, I still prefer soap. Though I have tried the pine tar body wash, I feel that I am overapplying it to my body, and I use the whole bottle for a shorter period than with soap. Yes, it does its job of removing dirt, oil, and grime, but I spend more money on it since I use more of the product. Hence, considering my practice and the cost, I prefer using pine tar soap.

Pine Tar Soap is Cheaper and Readily Available
In general, both soap and body wash have their advantages. The body wash has mainly been touted as more hygienic because it is usually packaged in a sealed bottle, as opposed to being exposed to the air like soap tends to be. Soap, on the other hand, is more eco-friendly because it typically comes in biodegradable or recyclable boxes instead of plastic bottles. But hygiene wouldn’t be such an issue with pine tar because it has natural antifungal and antibacterial properties. Pine tar soap is also more readily available and is typically much cheaper. Personally, I would recommend using soap instead of body wash.
